The Objective
Speak to technologists, founders and retail clients in a way they can all trust
CMCC are at the forefront of digital investment, with a global footprint across North America, Asia, and Europe. Tasked with the challenge of bridging two contrasting worlds – visionary founders and the pragmatic backers – their re-brand and website had to resonate with a broad market. We developed a brand and marketing site that seamlessly melds cutting-edge aesthetics with an air of trust and reliability, crafting a narrative that's both forward-thinking and anchored in assurance.
Clean and contemporary
We started with a clean, contemporary brand, with a focus on Scandinavian design principles. We selected a modern, stripped-back colour palette, and one of our favourite typefaces: NeueMontreal from Pangram Pangram Foundry. Throughout the process, we worked extensively with our 3D and motion teams to build out subtle but striking animations and interactions to keep the site cutting-edge but trustworthy. Less-is-more.
focus on performance
Messaging was central to this experience: this website’s place in CMCC’s complex sales funnel means that most visitors don’t just glance at the headlines, they study the site to help understand if CMCC are for them. The team stressed the importance of good messaging to us early, so, following the branding phase, we invested significant time refining the copy and Information Architecture with the CMCC team, which was time well spent.
The site, crucially, became an effective tool for their sales and Business Development teams, helping them to greatly increase conversions. We also think it looks brilliant.
